All animals available in the website Masterfisch, wild or bred, come from breeding farms and exporters who have been cautiously selected through strict specifications. Besides the health and quality of the animal, the work and environmental ethics provided by our suppliers are of the utmost importance. Animals’ well-being is the fundamental basis in the relations we keep with all of our suppliers.

Each animal is carefully fed by the team at the acclimatization center with food corresponding to the eating habits of each species. For the most part they are fed individually according to their size and specific behavior. The team at the acclimatization center uses AQUAFOREST food which they consider top-notch for an appropriate nourishment.

A Coral Selfie is an animal which has been especially photographed. Each Coral Selfie is unique and the picture depicts the animal which will be sent to you.

None of our pictures are retouched or artificially enhanced in any way. Our corals are lighted under LED or T5 and are photographed with and Olympus Compact water-proof camera. It is worth saying that a coral’s color can vary depending on the angle or type of screen from which it is being looked at. A coral is capable of rapidly changing color based on water parameters, skimming or transport. It will usually regain its original colors once optimal parameters have been stabilized.

All animals shown as available are, at the time of visiting our website, in their acclimatization phase at the acclimatization center. And are ready to be shipped between 2 to 7 working days.

Animals spend a minimum of 9 days at the acclimatization center. After that, by general rule, they remain in acclimatization phase as long as the specialists at the acclimatization center consider it necessary. Animals shown as available in the website have already finished their acclimatization period. At any time the technical team reserves the right to not ship an animal if they have the slightest doubt at the time of preparing shipment for any order (stress, possible sickness…)

We do not sell any toxic animals like redfish or stonefish on Masterfisch.
