Sweet lips are also called Plectorhynchinae. They are part of the order Perciformes and prefer rocky shores and coral reefs as habitat. Their length varies between 35cm and 1m. They are distinguished by their often very striking coloration. Mullet or Mullidae also belong to the order Perciformes. Its distribution area includes the coastal regions of all the seas. A special feature of many species is the pale red skin which is intense red colors when excited. Other species have the ability to change the patterns on their skin. The family of croakers, which are also known under the name Shadow fish, drummers or Scianidae, belongs to the order of the Perciformes. The size of the croakers varies between 9cm and 2,3m. They live in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The males produce during courtship drum-like sounds, by enabling the swim bladder using special muscles to vibrate.
